On Saturday 20th February 2010, the island of Madeira experienced adverse weather conditions including flooding and mudslides. The storm has now subsided and recovery work is well underway within Funchal.
Unfortunately flooding of our car park has affected our water supply and for the comfort of our guests we have made the decision to close the hotel temporarily, however we anticipate to be fully operational again very soon and will notify you as soon as we have further information.
The Vine Hotel extends its deepest sympathy to those affected and thanks all those who have offered support during this time.
